Many parishes are working to restore the Latin Mass, and we'd like to help!  We are happy to provide this free online Guide to Latin Prayers.

Our goal for this guide is found in the words of St. Paul:

"I will pray with the spirit and I will pray with the mind also; I will sing with the spirit and I will sing with the mind also." (1 Cor. 14:15)

When we pray, sing or simply listen to the Latin liturgy, we are often lifted up spiritually by the sheer beauty and sanctity of the sounds, but there is far more for us to gain.  It is our desire not to merely enjoy the sound of the Latin language, but also to fully participate with our minds.  Thanks to technology, this isn't difficult anymore.

The CLAA Guide to Latin Prayers provides just this.  We walk students through every word of the Latin prayers that they may easily understand their meaning.  It is also useful for adults looking to learn enough Latin to pray with understanding and pronounce prayers rightly.
