WELCOME!

Welcome to the Classical Liberal Arts Academy, more commonly called the "C.L.A.A.".  We are happy to provide individuals, families and schools with the only authentic classical liberal arts study program available anywhere.

The chief benefit of our program is that these studies concern all students, rather than a particular group.  Throughout history, the classical liberal arts have been studied by Egyptians, Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Jews, Catholics, Protestants and all who have sought Wisdom.  As the arts are not matters of divine revelation, but subjects within the reach of human reason, they are the possession of all men an d have thus been named the "humanities" or "humane arts".

The best way for you to make your plans is to speak directly with the CLAA's Director:

Mr. William Michael, Director

CLAA SCHOOLS

Having spent the past three years developing the CLAA's instructional materials, assessment tools and support services, we will be establishing CLAA schools throughout the United States.  CLAA schools are amazingly affordable and flexible, yet offer students unmatched academic rigor and school culture.  School families enjoy the combined benefits of local school community and all of the CLAA's online resources.

Our first schools are being planned for Lancaster, PA and Monroe, NC.  For more information, contact us.

CLAA HOME SCHOOL

The CLAA was created by a Catholic homeschooling family in 2008 to bring the standard of true classical education back to Christian students around the world.  The CLAA offers homeschooling families with study materials written and published by a team of expert Catholic instructors rather than boxes of books, administrative tools to eliminate the chaos of homeschooling and the support needed to maintain high standards while fulfilling professional and domestic responsibilities as well.   The CLAA provides a wide range of resources and services for homeschooling parents.

To learn how to get started, we recommend the article, "Where Do We Begin?" by William Michael.

CLAA MEDIA
Many speak of "restoring Christian culture" but they ignore the problem:  there's nothing to restore Christian culture with.  Few children are raised knowing the songs of Christendom, familiar with its art and images or versed in its  literature.  Many of the sources are not even available any longer.  The CLAA is working to create, restore and publish the media that the next generation can use to enjoy a restored Christian culture.
