Have you ever wondered what happened to strong, traditional Catholic teaching?  It was degraded, neglected and is increasingly discarded by the ideas of modernism.  At the time when modernist thought was being hatched, Pope St. Pius X warned of its danger and proposed the remedy:

"In the first place, with regard to studies, we will and ordain that Scholastic philosophy be made the basis of the sacred sciences.  And let it be clearly understood above all things that the Scholastic philosophy we prescribe is that which the Angelic Doctor has bequeathed to us."                                                     -Pascendi Dominic Gregis, 1907

That advice has unfortunately been ignored and millions of Catholics, especially in America, receive no instruction in scholastic philosophy.  They are sent into the world unprepared and the results are before us.
